On February 28, 2025, a delegation from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), led by the President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-art, along with Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sumonman Niamlang, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sorapong Pavasupree, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khahan Na Nan, faculty members, and Mr. Schle Woodthanan, Managing Director of Satin Textile Co., Ltd., the owner of the PASAYA brand, visited Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the university’s administrators and faculty members, including Prof. Ing. Jiří Skládanka, Ph.D. (Vice-Rector for Internationalisation), Doc. Ing. Daniel Falta, Ph.D. (Vice-Dean for Internationalisation, FA), Mgr. Lukáš Kala, Ph.D. (Head of the International Relations Office), Mgr. Tereza Šmídová (Global Engagement Coordinator), Doc. Ing. Valerie Vránová, Ph.D. (Vice-Dean for Internationalisation, FFWT), Mgr. Lenka Zouhar Ludvíková, Ph.D. (Vice-Dean for Internationalisation, FRDIS), Ing. Marcel Ševela, Ph.D. (Vice-Dean for Quality, Strategy, and Accreditations, FBE), Prof. Ing. During the visit, the two universities engaged in discussions on academic collaboration, research initiatives, student exchange programs, and industry partnerships. The delegation was also given a tour of key facilities, including the Mendel Biotechnology Pavilion, the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, and the Faculty of Business and Economics.
